A few of us have a question on the deck rules. what is allowed, can you weld deck halves to running boards. do they need to be welded together (our SM class rules say deck can be gutted to allow acess to the belt but the two pc. must be welded together). Also some club rules say the deck must take up 80% of the space.
Any clearifications would be appreciated. thanks.

You must have two deck halves securly mounted in the original position, they can be gutted.
